Sassy Vintage 1940s Wrap Dress SZ 14-16
Straight from the early 1940's just in time for the Mardi Gras season, this dress explodes with bright colours and festive designs. Bursting with yummy spring colours in rich purple, fuchsia, line and white on a deco greeny-turquoise background in a fine textured rayon, this wrap style, side closure dress closes with a large mother of pearl button at waistline, a matching button decorates the opposite side of the front waistline. Inside tie at waistline and snap, MINT condition. Deep lapels frame the "V" neckline, padded shoulders (so forties!), 3/4 sleeves with turn back cuffs, front patch pocket below waistband on right front, label inside reads "Myra-Janet Toledo, Ohio". Sweeping long skirted length at 57 inches from neck to hemline. Waist measures 30 inches, can be adjusted simply by moving the button at waistline. Approximate size 14-16.
